The Sabin Orchard, nestled in the heart of NE Portland, is a flourishing green space that hosts a variety of fruit trees. PFTP, a non-profit organization that promotes sustainable urban agriculture, has partnered with the local community to organize this event. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to participate in the MLK Day work party. The day’s activities will include pruning, weeding, mulching, and other essential tasks to ensure the orchard’s continued productivity.
